Syndae.de - Podcast / Streamed ambient electronic music

syndae.de provides a weekly 30 minute slot as both podcast and streamed audio, put together in Dortmund, Germany (a place I last visited about 10 years ago). The programme focussed on relaxed/ambient electronic music. A really good track by Synth.NL is on the playlist this week.

If you like your electronic music atmospheric, cinematic, and so forth, this really is a superb podcast. Well done Stefan for puttin this together!

Kohina.com - Chiptune internet radio

Accessing is a bit of a pain - streaming uses a non-standard player ("JOrbis"). It seems to simply not work on Internet Explorer, but Firefox is OK. If chiptunes are your thing, this is a great station. Jeoren Tel's Kinetix is on as I write this - Knightrider, C64 style !

Housefreaks - UK internet radio station

housefreaks.co.uk plays uptempo, commercial, house music.

Electrosound.tv - Electronic music internet station

Streams live DJ sets (commerical dance music) - with pictures (although not always that mind blowing visuals - above is one of the "highlights" from when I tuned in). -  Listen here

L'Eko internet radio station

A French radio station, also broadcast on the internet. Definite "alternative" flavour, and a lot of electronic music (yey!) - The stream is here

Beta Lounge internet radio station

Not the easiest of stations to access. You have to:
(a) register
(b) locate and download and install  a non-standard player - either RealPlayer (pesterware) or VLC (open source).
(c) then if, like me, you went for VLC, the standard browsers (IE, Firefox) don't actually pass the rtsp protocol to VLC. Right-click to copy the link and then paste into VLC.

And, after all that, it's unlistenable (at least from my UK location) because there is a long pause once a minute (successfully streamed other stations both before and after, so unlikely a problem with my local conneciton).

ASNAZZY - Dance music internet radio station

The ASNAZZY station is currently online and playing upbeat, fairly commercial, instrumental dance music.

European Electro-music January 2012 ?

Not yet confirmed, I think, but planning here on the electro-music site. Can't make the suggested dates myself, so still have fingers crossed for a UK-based event :-)

Electro-music internet radio station

electro-music.com

An internet radio station dedicated to experimental electronic music. <tune in>

Some more information about this station here

Electro-music 2011 (9th to 11th September)

Tickects now available for this electronic music conference/festival in Huguenot, NY, USA. Anyone know of a similar event in the UK?
